Unveil My Eyes Talks: When The Mind Is Blind
The eyes are useless when the mind is blind.
What an interesting and true statement this is–when we ask God to unveil our eyes, do we truly know what we are asking him?
At times we get so caught up in life and our circumstances that we do not realize we are blind. We are searching and looking for answers, but cannot see the light because we are more focused on what problems are in front of us. We see the bad and the ugly, but we cannot see the good and beautiful that will come out eventually.
It is in these times that we must look up to heaven and pray to God to open our eyes. We should take the example of Elisha when he prayed for his servant’s eyes to open. When he prayed this prayer, the Lord opened his eyes and he was able to see that the great armies of heaven were in the back ready to help defeat the enemy (2 Kings 6:15-20).
When the Lord unveils our eyes, it is then that our mind is renewed, and we begin the process of transformation.
This is the time when we rejoice in Jesus victory because he has the power to overcome all spiritual blindness. But we must be willing to change and be submissive to his will and to his voice.
Remember that there are more with us than against us!
When we aren’t blind anymore we are FREE!
