Searching For Answers?
Matthew 6:33 has helped me out so much in trusting the will and purpose of God. When I’m searching for answers, waiting on His response, feeling desperate at times (because yes, I am human, even though at times I wish I was wonder women), this verse has made an impact in my life. If you’re a believer, you know exactly what I’m talking about. But if your skeptical, or have a hard time trusting, then maybe you’re thinking I’m crazy. Possibly you’re wondering “how do I search the Kingdom of God?” “How is God going to give me what I need when I don’t see or hear him?” Well I’m going to put this as simple as possible I can.
God is an all-powerful God! There is NO one like Him! God is perfect and makes NO mistake! So, when God created you in the utter seclusion of your mother’s womb, He had a plan and purpose for your life. God requires (Require=need for a particular purpose) us to worship Him. We were created to worship Him! We were created to give our ALL to Him. We were created for Him…Point blank period.
So, don’t get it twisted though. You’re on this earth to do His will. But because our loving Father is so gracious and giving, he gives us a choice. But it’s also not about choosing good vs. evil like a fairy tale story, because you can be the best person out there and do all sorts of good things but that does not guarantee you into heaven. The bible says in John 14:6 (NLT)…Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me”.
Jesus=Kingdom of God.
Jesus is God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. So, when you decide to give up your life to serve Jesus and worship Him with all you are and all you have, you my friend are seeking the Kingdom of God! As you maintain this attitude of reverence and service and seeking the kingdom of God, He will provide all your needs.
