Strings, Prayers, Creativity and Colors

Prayer & Worship Night: A group of youth came and prayed for the community. Groups gathered together to pray for 5 different subjects. We ended our Prayer night with a station of prayer colors (5, for each different color) represented by each of these:

He is the Healer
(prayer for healing over the sick, prayer for healing power over the sick in our community, prayer for healing for the broken hearted going through tough trials)
Psalm 30:2 O Lord my God, I cried to You and You have healed me.

He is Stronger
(prayer for those struggling with their faith, for those struggling with believing in God in our community, for youth to believe that sin is broken because of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross)
2 Corinthians 13:4 For he was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God.

He is Enough
(prayer for every kind of fear within our youth, for us to believe that God is enough for me and enough to use me with what he has give me. For youth to cast out worries and gloom and to live a joyful life.)
Matthew 6:25 This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing?

He is Lord
(Prayer to accept him once again as our Master. For the youth to see him as Master, daily. “Master” means that Jesus has power of life and death over us. Prayer of surrender, of repentance and submission, to focus our eyes on the master and obey him, serve him with all our might. A prayer of help to accept him as Lord over our lives.)
Luke 6:46 “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

He is Faithful
(For us to know and understand the fullness of God’s faithfulness. For the youth to recognize his faithfulness in all of their lives. Prayer for us to keep sharing God’s faithfulness and make it known to all the world. For those going through tough moments, for God to show himself faithful and provide their needs in these times.)
Psalm 89:1 I will sing of the LORD’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.

Overall we had a great time. It was awesome to come together with everyone and pray for all of these things.
