Unplugged Youth & Young Adults

Tonight’s study is on James 5, as we look at the suffering around us we can’t help but wonder where is God in all of this? Is there still hope for me? In this study we share words of faith that help us have hope in him and realize that he’s asking us to be patient. We know that God has a plan for us and we sometimes get inpatient with him, tonight I encourage you to trust him with your life and give him control of your fears and struggles. He knows what to do. Jesus is our hope. Have patience in your suffering!

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains. You too, be patient and stand firm, because the Lord’s coming is near. Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!

10 Brothers and sisters, as an example of patience in the face of suffering, take the prophetswho spoke in the name of the Lord. 11 As you know, we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy. James 5:7-11
