Breastplate of Righteousness

What’s the significance of righteousness? It protects a believer’s heart and makes him or her more like Christ.  Paul in Ephesians 6 is saying put this on and it’s going to protect your heart so you can be more like Christ.

Significance of the breastplate . . . it protects a soldier’s heart.

Significance of righteousness . . . it protects a believer’s heart and makes him/her more like Christ.

Righteousness means to be right (with God) and to do right (according to God).

Have you fully been transformed from a life of ungodliness and unrighteousness into a life that is holy and pure in the sight of God?
