God is within me and I will not fall
Going through my notes all the way from 2017, I reflected on how great God has been to me. There have been prayers answered that I have forgotten about, and there are other prayers I forgot about that have not been answered. What a great reminder, so I can go back and pray for those petitions of my heart.
Going through my notes I found this note down below. I don’t remember where I got it from, but I wrote “from and unknown author.”
“Let them judge you.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them gossip about you.
Their opinions aren’t your problem.
You stay kind, committed to love, and free in your authenticity.
No matter what they do or say, don’t dare doubt your worth or the beauty of your truth.
Just keep shining like you do.”
This quote reminded me and encouraged me to continue to be my true self. I know that in this life I will meet people who will not always agree with what I say, how I say it, how I act etc.
Sometimes without realizing I would let their comments dim me down and discourage me. And I’m supposed to love them?????
It is difficult to love people that hurt you, right?
Many people in the world will take up revenge or paybacks, but as a daughter of a King, my job is to choose to love those people. This is what pleases the Lord.
Psalms 46:1 says “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”
When I feel the waters rise up against me, and the mountains tremble, my faith and hope is in Jesus because he dwells in me. Because He dwells in me then I cannot be moved, I cannot be shaken, I cannot be broken!
“God dwells in that city; it cannot be destroyed. From the very break of day, God will protect it.”
